This painting is a combination of acrylic paint, crayon and a touch of charcoal. It was painted in my studio on 08-22-2010. If you've followed my blog for a while then you know cows are one of my favorite subjects. It's probably due to the fact that I've painted hundreds of cow paintings and once I become familiar with the subject I start to realize how much I can abstract it. If I tried to paint chickens tomorrow it wouldn't come as easy as cows since I don't know what I can, and can't get away with. I like to abstract the subject as much as possible without losing the essence of the subject.

I set up a camera in my studio so you can now see this painting completed from start to finish. Hope you enjoy the demo and let me know what you think. This piece will be available for sale tomorrow but thought you would enjoy the viewing today.
